Morning all,

Our intermediates start their championship campaign this Saturday afternoon, August 12th, when they take on Micheàl Breathnachs in Cregg (Annaghdown's GAA grounds). Throw-in is at 2pm. Best wishes to the team and management.


Under 12's play St. Gabriel's away this Sunday morning, August 13th. Throw-in at 11:00am.


Under 19's take on Gael na Gaillimhe next Monday evening, August 14th, in Brownsgrove. Throw-in is at 7:30pm


The Frank Heverin Memorial Football Matches took place last Saturday evening in Clonberne. Two matches were played to celebrate his short life. Our junior team were defeated by Killkerin/Clonberne. Final Score: Cortoon Shamrocks 3-7 Killkerin/Clonberne 2-14.
Tuam/Cortoon senior ladies were defeated by Killkerin/Clonberne ladies afterwards. Refreshments and cup presentations took place in the Country Inn with entertainment was provided by DJ Ollie. Many thanks to Ollie Mullins, Killkerin/Clonberne GAA Club and everyone who was involved in the organising of the very enjoyable evening where all proceeds went to Tuam Cancer Care. Thanks also to everyone who supported the event.


Work is continuing on the construction of our new stand in Brownsgrove. Thanks to all who have contributed in any way so far.


An Underage table quiz in aid of the club takes place this Friday evening, August 11th, in the Cortoon Inn at 7:30pm sharp. A table of 4 will cost €20 (€5 per person) and anyone under the age of 16 can participate.

The club sends it's condolences to the Rabbitte family, Lemonagh, Lavally, on the passing of Sheila Rabbitte. May she rest in peace.
