Cortoon Community Playing Fields
We are delighted to share a short visualisation video of Phase 1 of Cortoon Community Park. This includes a Playground, Walking Track, All Weather Playing Pitch, max size GAA pitch, changing rooms, gym with yoga/pilates studio & tea/coffee dock. The planning application has now been submitted, and we are a step closer to making this incredible facility a reality, something that everyone in our community will benefit from. You may be aware that there is a major fundraising initiative underway in the form of a draw for a Toyota hilux, Centreparcs voucher & robotic lawnmower. We have set an ambitious goal to raise €100,000 and with the great work of the fundraising committee and members of our community, an incredible amount of €55,000 after costs has already been raised. The countdown is on with just 3 weeks remaining and to help make these exciting plans a reality we are asking for your support in any way you can - to like & share the various posts on social media, share the idonate link with friends, consider purchasing a ticket as an option for a Christmas gift, volunteer to help with ticket sales events, maybe sell a ticket to family members or work colleagues, etc. every ticket sold matters! If you would like to take a few tickets to sell please just give a thumbs up here and we will get in touch or alternatively you can make contact with a member of the committee.
