Afternoon all,

In conjunction with Clonberne Festival, on Saturday August 5 from 6pm in Clonberne there will be some friendly matches held to celebrate the life of a great person and a lover of all things sporting. Tuam-Cortoon ladies will be taking on current All Ireland champions Kilkerrin Clonberne and the Cortoon Junior mens team will play the Kilkerrin Clonberne Juniors. There will be a cup for each of the winners and a bucket collection at the gate in lieu of a cover charge.

All proceeds on the day and night will be donated to Tuam Cancer Care. The football will be followed by refreshments for the teams in The Country Inn and the Cup presentations, followed by a disco with DJ Ollie.

There is a blue and red theme on the night representing the colours of all the teams taking part with a raffle and bucket collection continuing. It promises to be a great evening and night supporting a great cause.
