Intermediates travelled to Glenamaddy for their 2nd league game last Saturday evening and had a great win. Final score: Cortoon Shamrocks 1-12 Glenamaddy 0-13. Next game is against St. James's in Brownsgrove the weekend after next.

Juniors had their first league game of the year last Sunday morning in Brownsgrove. Final score Cortoon Shamrocks 1-11 Athenry 1-14. Next game is away to Mountbellew- Moylough the weekend after next.

Work started on the construction of our new spectators stand in the pitch last Saturday morning. The old stand was knocked last year due to health and safety reasons while work was being carried out on our new floodlights. The pitch will remain open and the area around the stand will be fenced off with security fencing. Only the construction team will be allowed into that area due to insurance reasons. We ask parents to keep their children away from the stand area for the duration of the build.
